  Rob Brule - Founder & Head of Soccer Operations

Rob Brule is currently an Assistant Coach for the Connecticut College women's soccer team.  Rob was formerly the Head Coach at Waterford High School girls soccer team from 1994-2013, a 20-year career that culminated in 243 career wins.  He has coached Waterford to 13 Eastern Connecticut Conference Championships in his final 15 seasons, has been selected Coach of the Year in 2001, 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2013, while taking a program from 0-16 in 1994 to Class M State Champions in 2013. The first Soccer State Championship in Waterford High School history, both boys or girls.  He was selected into the Southeast Connecticut Junior Soccer Association Hall of Fame in 2013 and was recently selected into the Connecticut High School Girls Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2017, one of only 26 coaches inducted into this exclusive club.  Rob also serves as Director of Operations for the Southeast Soccer Club and sits on the SSC Board of Directors.  

Over his final 14 seasons at Waterford High School, Coach Brule accumulated a 177-35-16 overall record, and in his 20th and final year as head coach, his team was the #1 ranked team in the 2013 High School Girls Soccer Poll.  Over his career, 18 of his players have gone on to play competitively at the collegiate level, 8 Division I players, 2 Division II players and 8 Division III players. Coach Brule has produced 6 Players of the Year, 2 NSCAA All-New England players, 17 All-State players, 39 All-Area players, 63 All-Conference players and 13 Connecticut Senior Bowl all-star players. In 2013, he produced the program's only CIAC Class M State Championship Game MVP.

Brule’s 2002 team made its first State Championship Final appearance, outscored opponents 90-10, and finished the season at 17-2-1.  His team was led by Katie Schoepfer , who finished her career as the tate of Connecticut's All-Time leading goal scorer, and she went on to an All-American career at Penn Sate and was named to the U23 National Team. She was drafted in the 3rd Round of the 2010 WPS Draft by the New York Sky Blue FC and currently plays for the Boston Breakers.

Coach Brule has completed the USSF National “D” License and NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma and is the former Vice President of the Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Maine, where he was a Division I scholarship player from 1986-1990. Coach Brule played semi-professionally for the Moodus Rowdies and Waterford Xara of the Connecticut Soccer League, winning 4 consecutive Connecticut Soccer League Championships in 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994. Rob is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Mindscape Industries.  

   Andrew Storton - Director of Operations

Andrew, originally from Oxford, England, holds his USSF “D” License alongside a UEFA “B” and English F.A Level 1,2 and 3,  Andrew came to the States in 2009 and now resides in Niantic, CT with his wife Hannah and son Oliver . As Director of Operations Andrew is responsible for overseeing all CCS clinics in Connecticut, including the popular Nike Boys and Girl's Soccer Clinics, Travel Team Academy, Boys & Girls High School Team Week, Goalkeeper Academy, and the newly formed CCS Elite Teams, Easter Week Clinic, and Futsal Program.  Away from CCS, Andrew is the Head Coach of the Bacon Academy High School boys soccer team, where he recently led the team to the 2012 Class M State Championship game, ECC-Large Division Championship and a undefeated regular season (16-0).  He was selected the 2012 ECC Large Coach of the Year, and the Norwich Bulletin Fall Coach of the year. He also is a Head Coach at the Southeast Soccer Club, coaching multiple premier teams.
